Silvia Barrios

Home Service Coordinator & Scheduler

Silvia Barrios attended the University of St. Thomas receiving a special education teaching degree in conjunction with her teaching degree from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala. She worked with the Maple Grove and Robbinsdale School district in their Early Childhood Family Education Program. As her family was growing she took a sabbatical to raise her children and tutor college students in Spanish.

Silvia joined English Rose Suites in 2001 working overnights at the Braemar Home for 4 1/2 years. After a short leave of absence, Silvia resumed working at English Rose Suites as a care partner in our homes. She accepted a promotion as Team Mentor at the Interlachen Home in 2007, while mentoring new staff throughout the initial training process. December of 2009 Silvia was promoted as the Home Services Coordinator and Scheduler. She is passionate about her family, the residents at English Rose Suites, running and tennis.
